Sashemani Elliott
Sashemani Elliott graduated from Concordia College –Bronxville, NY with a Bachelor’s in Childhood Education, for grades 1-6 in 2006. After undergrad, she was blessed with the opportunity to teach 5th and 6th grade for 5 years at Grace Lutheran School-Malverne. She earned her Master’s in Educational Leadership and Technology from Adelphi University-Garden City, NY in December 2010. In August 2011, she joined the staff of Amber Charter School in East Harlem as their Dean of Students and Testing Coordinator and was subsequently promoted as Assistant Principal. This year she embarks on a new task as Principal. Sasha has administered professional development workshops in Anti-bullying, social studies in the classroom, creating interim assessments, effective leadership, differentiated instruction and the common core.She sits on the board of the Center For Urban Education Ministries which sits under the umbrella of Lutheran Social Services.
